This Medieval eating knife is recreated based on finds from the river Thames from the 12th - 14th century. A simple, yet handsome design is can ably serve as a general utility knife as well as it can an eating knife. Though a practical knife in its design its brass bolster and pommel cap coupled with quality craftsmanship elevate it to a treasured personal tool - the blade with its leaf-like silhouette would have also been considered quite fashionable in its day.

The sharpened, single-edged blade of this eating knife is made from EN45 high carbon steel and has etched design on a single side. The grip is polished wood surmounted by a brass pommel cap and brass bolster. The knife is paired with a sheath of tough leather with stitched construction and a hanging ties.
